Pros
- Flexibility for office time. - Fast in terms of company development. - Big projects to learn compared to VN companies. But big projects also mean learning small parts. - Grow fast if you understand the manager's needs and wants. - Free food and happy hour. - If you need first time oversee experience. OK.
Cons
- Unorganized workflow in teamwork (also partly due to the flexibility). - Not fast in terms of personal development. Learning depends on the team you join, but if you learn more normally you'll have to work x 2-5 harder without complaining, assisting all the other people all the time as 24/7 (or 996) culture. Can work normal but you'll not be promoted (or you have to be a super star outside by yourself as the internal colleagues and boss won't help you learn that much) - No clear framework in judgment of career growth in SPA/performance review even if it happens twice a year. The same thing as learning happens if you want to grow. Title might not equal knowledge, skills, or attitude. - Social insurance is not fully equal to salary, only based on the country's minimum wage. Company trip needs extra payment from employees. - Lots of OT, some without charge. - Office standards are low, sexual harassment can happen to anyone female. - Managers are not well-trained and normally are promoted as they change the structure, or have more people in so they need more managers, but no skills/certs/qualifications of managers.
