Pros

None. Waste of time and regret for leaving my old work place.

Cons

I can rate Skinit as the most unprofessional company in San Diego. It has the worst upper management, probably you won't even know them till you go and introduce yourself as you cannot expect your manager to introduce you to anyone. They hire people on Director position with no previous experience of handling team members. Also, the company offers no learning scope. Everyone works in their little corner with little interaction with each other.

Pros

Everyone gets their hands dirty and does a great job. Just because you have one job title doesn’t mean you can’t help with other stuff. The team is small but everyone has a great attitude and gets work done. If you come in thinking you’re going to run things the way you want you won’t last. Work as a team!

Cons

Some might say it’s a con for the small team but this just gives you experience in so much more!

Pros

This used to be a fun, easy-going company with a solid team that would even hang out outside of work. The hours WERE flexible and it WAS a fun environment to work in.

Cons

Over the years a combination of an apathetic ownership and the investment of a Private Equity have transformed the company into a miserable work environment led by out-of-touch tech bros obsessed with AI. Simple emails to management are either ignored or receive a ChatGPT response that vaguely answers the question. They simultaneously want to micro-manage but ignore employee input. The core Skinit employees have either been laid off or driven away to be replaced by remote teams that don't fully understand how the business is run. This company is probably going to be sold again once its made more profitable but who knows what the staff will consist of.
