Pros

big office offering free toast and fruit

Cons

You will be offered a very poor salary, however in return you will be given free food and alcohol on a daily basis. This doesn't exactly pay your rent. You will also encounter co-workers hired who match the Skimlinks or 'Skimlove' culture, which basically means you should be an arrogant hipster wannabe who looks scruffy and wears flip flops and ripped jeans to work. Senior management do not sit in a closed off private office and instead sit with all employees on the floor, this does not compensate for how unapproachable they are. Managers lack empathy, understanding and communication skills and it is a case of who can shout the loudest rather than saying something of value, so you will be disrespected by rude employees who would like to ensure their own career progression and would throw you under the bus if you get in their way. If you would like your career to go nowhere, to be humiliated, and experience a night of in-office drinking with a hint of racial bigotry, join Skimlinks.
