Pros

The agency is very supportive of workers in the policies it has with families. You get paid for cancellations, you get transportation payouts, and you are supported when parents ask you to do things that are out of the scope of your work. The jobs are scheduled around my schedule and so I can make money while still auditioning. There are a lot of extra benefits like studio space and free classes. The hotel appointments are great and people tip well. You do have to do work to get raises but everything is very easy. I didn't start as low as these other reviewers are mentioning so I am not sure where those numbers came from. I have made $15/hr and up the whole time I have worked here. When you include all the tips I have made, the pay is very good for me.

Cons

You do have to self manage and there are a lot of systems. If you don't do things on time you either miss out on bookings or don't get paid on time. The amount of hours you get can be unpredictable unless you take a weekly appointment. You are expected to take last minute work.

Pros

Benefits of setting availability schedule is a super plus,

Cons

Appointments often made within 24 or 48 hours notice. If you list yourself as "available" you HAVE to work or you'll get a demerit, and after 3 you're fired. Very strict policies regarding cancelling a "booking". You will run into some truly crazy New York parents. A friend of me had a baby gate thrown at her by a client. I personally had to take care of very sick children (then getting sick myself). Disclaimer: Though it's technically in their policy to tell you if the children are sick, but most parents forget to provide that information. 1099 contract - you're going to have to pay tax on whatever you make come tax season. $13 starting wage - a bit low considering the company's employment requirements and how much they make off of you (client pays) $27-$35 per hour). Get $0.50 raise for passing specific tests on written material, making roughly $15/hour after completing all tests.
