Pros
I loved getting to work with students on a daily basis. They were energetic and fun and kept the engagement up. Many of the staff are also wonderful.
Cons
Leadership is disconnected from the outside world. They have such a closed minded mentality. I worked in the Admissions office and they were unwilling to change to adapt to the new ways to recruit students. We were basically directed to call them to death when millennials don’t want to talk on the phone. They need to realize that you either adapt to the times or the school will die. I feel like Simpson will be one of the first private schools to close in the state because they are so unwilling to adapt and change. It’s sad because it is a good school with great alumni, fantastic location and solid facilities.
