Pros
Good for an entry level position if you have no other opportunities. You can slack off and as long as you obey their rules/policies (no cell phones, talking, arrive on time 8AM-5:30PM). Good place to meet people that can commiserate with you about the job. I made some really good friends working here.
Cons
ENTRY LEVEL PAY/worse. The managers are skilled at providing false hope that there are legitimate opportunities for growth within the firm. They will "promote" you to new positions with little or no pay increase but tell you that within 90 days you can get a raise. The yearly raises that they give are laughable at best (1%-3%) considering you may see 5$ more per paycheck for a years worth of hard work. The higher ups are excellent at micro managing if you aren't performing to their expectations but when you surpass set goals, the goals just become larger. Regardless of your performance, pay is not determined by your work product but by how your manager feels about you. Consistently performing above other fellow employees in your same role only gets you 'pats on the back' so there is really no incentive to go above and beyond as your work does not get recognized in the way that it should (monetarily!). There is no grace period for lateness (not even 30 seconds) and you will get written up if you are late more than 3 times in a 6 month period. They also will write you up for being caught on your cell phone or for talking to other co-workers even when it is work related. The corporate structure, policies, and rules are put in place so that it is near impossible to get the full raise amount and so that management has a list of ways you can 'improve'. Yes, your 6 month (good luck if you get one of these) and yearly reviews will be to discuss how many times you were late or caught on your cell phone rather than your WORK and VALUE as an employee. The atmosphere here is just like middle school so if you are ready to begin your career go elsewhere. Most of the positions require a bachelors degree; however they have manager(s) supervising these roles without even an associates degree!
