Pros
There are a few good people that work here. They are smart, good natured, and are willing to help.
Cons
Strategy volatility → execution churn. During my tenure, goals and priorities changed mid-cycle multiple times, leading to context switching and missed commitments.
Top-down decision-making with limited accountability. Misses were often framed as execution issues rather than strategy misalignment, which discouraged constructive dissent.
Abrupt reorganizations and RIFs. Several org changes landed with short notice, sometimes dissolving entire pods with minimal knowledge transfer creating operational gaps and burnout.
Change management and documentation are weak. Processes trail decisions; teams spend time rediscovering “how we do X” instead of executing.
No psychological safety. Speaking up can be interpreted as misalignment, which reduces the quality of debate.
If you need stable goals, transparent decision-making, and thoughtful change management, this environment will likely frustrate you.
