Pros
* Some really genuine and talented people that were a pleasure to work with in all departments * Pivot acquisition improved communication * Extremely autonomous environment (i.e. no practical supervision or leadership, if you know what you're doing, you're left alone) * Great Customers * Nice Office space * Nice Office desks * Flexible work from home policy
Cons
* High turnover - 5 changes of supervisor in a little over 2 years, people in department left every 3-4 months, putting burden on everyone remaining. Churn and burn atmosphere. Work overload. No appreciation at all. * Leadership did not effectively address well known issues with poor managers and good people left * No reviews or salary increases * Some managers did not have appropriate skillsets * Did not have tools needed to do the job (i.e. Microsoft Project software, when Customers were using it, and other internal departments). * Not a Team atmosphere within the Company as a whole. * Manager load at over 40 direct reports was unreasonable and affected everyone * No career development, no advancement opportunities * Different companies under Pivot did not talk with one another. Management was not open to hearing ways to better improve this situation
