Cons
If you are not German, if you don't speak fluent German or if you have not lived in Germany for many years occupying a function in the company, it is very unlikely you will have a chance to grow and develop your career. Frustration with this attitude comes to many of the employees that see expats coming to the countries to occupy the best positions, and again seeing other expats replacing them when their contracts are due. A mixed structure between horizontal and vertical also brings the problem of many people to give orders but in the end none of them has real power to decide. It's confusing and not efficient. Salaries are not equalized and too many people with the same function with the same experience in the same department earn different salaries, also causing frustration.
