Pros

It is an incentive driven organization. I have been working here for last 3 years and was offered excellent growth opportunities. My salary was doubled during the tenure. Showflipper offers flexible work timings after 18 months of service. For new comers, the timing is 10-7 with a 1-hour lunch break. Currently, I manage a team of developers and got a good overall learning experience. This is generally discussed with team heads. I manage my team between 9-5 with 30 minutes lunch break. I managed to learn new frameworks and newer technology. The company does invest in training and development. Unlike other organizations, Showflipper gives an opportunity for us to discuss targets even before those are allotted to every key stake holder. What matters is commitment, consistency, and discipline to work here.

Cons

They follow "perform or perish" policy. It is a USA based start up and shows no mercy if the targets are not met. Their policy is we will not load you with targets but we will give a fair chance for you to choose your own targets. Once this decision is made then there is no looking back. They have an alert system in place and on 3rd alert HR does discuss your targets Vs achievements and if there are no signs of improvements after a 5th alert in one-quarter then the exit plans are prepared.

Pros

No pros of working here

Cons

There were a lot of cons. The manager wasn’t capable enough. There was no learning. There was no planning.

Pros

The positive reviews posted for ShowFlipper here are obviously fake. The potential for the business idea is the only pro I can think of.

Cons

1. No direction as to where they want to go. 2. Certain employees behave like school children before the CEO. There are four employees who have stuck with the company because they are ready to work all 7 days a week, come what may. So if you are a good slave employee and no life, you have a great future here. 3. They have no value for talent, their approach keeps changing on a day-to-day basis. 4. The CEO does listen in to ideas at times but is adamant in pushing his ideas without consultation or thought given to it. 5. Instead of bringing in customers and visitors genuinely to the website, the company uses sensational, misleading offers to attract the audience, leading to loss of brand value. 6. Alternate Saturdays working is not bad if you really need the job.
