Working with Dave and the crew! Typically in my experience with working for companies, there is a micro-managing boss, gossiping employees, the angry co-worker and people are not happy. Completely not the case at ShootDotEdit!!! Everybody is so happy and truly loves each other! They have worked here for years and hang out with each other outside of work! I work with Dave mostly and he couldn't be any cooler!!! He is so patient, eloquent, empowering, funny, encouraging, celebrates my wins, and truly is about everybody's success from employees to clients!! Plus, he has cool socks on at all times! Garrett our owner spends one-on-one time with the group is friendly, playful, and works hard at ensuring we are giving top-notch service and editing to our clients. He is all about family and encourages the group to bring their children to work so they may learn how a company runs to become business leaders in the future! :) Kim is the rock of the company! She has been here from the beginning. She is always warm, positive and ready to help! She is a great mother and has awesome podcast suggestions! Katy the head of Customer Success couldn't be any sweeter! She gives impeccable service to our clients! All day long I hear her across the hall being so helpful to everybody she comes across. Our Personal Style Consultants and editing crew are just good looking, stylish, cool dudes that work hard ensuring our clients look and style are dialed in and have a great time in the process. I hear them in there laughing together and celebrating each others success. Nathaniel is the head of our IT department and literally works around the clock! He is classy, intelligent, and extremely knowledgable. We know 1/10th of all of the hard work he puts in!!! We get company breakfast, lunches, and snacks! That is the real perks of the company! :)

My office gets cold and they provide a blanket and turn down the air con to make it warmer!

You know what I love about working with a small company like ShootDotEdit? What you personally contribute makes a HUGE impact. You can make a huge impact on the company, a huge impact on your coworkers and friends, and a HUGE impact on the customers. You’re asked frequently to think deeply about your role, about what and you do and how you do it. They’re always looking to optimize and get better, and are very open to feedback on anything that can deliver better results for you or the customers. It’s been really nice to see how my ideas and feedback have been put into place, and how those updates have literally changed the lives of the customers. But the best part is that you are not just a nameless, faceless cog in the machine. Every teammate is a mission critical teammate. It’s just up to you how much you want to put into it, and that'll dictate how much you're going to grow, learn, and forge your own path there.

It’s not a cake walk at ShootDotEdit. If you’re looking for a job to just punch in, crank out some widgets, and punch out, this isn’t it.
