Team was great back in the days. We were all newees in the company and in the city so we all became good friends, going for drinks after work and hanging out at the weekend. The office is located right next to Plaça Cataluña with great terrace for lunch breaks!

CEO has no previous experience whatsoever. He came straight out from school and was purely improvising when his dad was not here to tell him what to do. Management was clearly pretending everything was okay for the company when all the staff knew there was 0 sales growth. One day they just stopped talking to the staff and 1 week after they fired half of us in a minute after more than a year of dedicated work for the company...

ShoeSize.me is a an interesting company with a strong offering to b2b clients in the eCommerce market. With a start up mentality and an open mind to new ideas. Your skill set and abilities are encouraged and most importantly a high degree of trust and autonomy is afforded. Constant learning due to the incredibly intelligent people involved in the project. Great location in Barcelona. International team. Remote work friendly on an ad hoc basis A strong sense of teamwork.

Career plan somewhat unclear in comparison to bigger companies but I would say at the same time that being a start up there is flexibility to where your career could lead. Team is still small so if you like working in larger teams, something you will need to get used to.
