Pros
The Partners seem to like this law firm, but they may be stuck in a rut. It is somewhat high on regional rankings, yet lacks strength in nationwide rankings. If you work out of the Hartford Office there is more exposure and a better chance of promotion. The Greenwich Office is truly 'prestigious' compared to the other offices.
Cons
This is not a place for Management Professionals (i.e. HR, Finance, etc.) to advance nor is it a place for Legal Professionals if intellectually creative. Atmosphere is stiff, inflexible, and stifling. Managing Partners tend to lean towards the dysfunctional. Have worked in other law firms and compared to any Manhattan, Chicago, and/or Los Angeles law firm this one leaves a lot to be desired.
