Pros
Collaborative culture and hires well-employees are generally great at their jobs. Favorable position in the value chain, and a solid growth strategy, leading to many opportunities for employees to develop their career. Global company presence, excellent North and Latin America brand recognition. Good US benefits package, including BOTH pension and 401K match, plus some really nice add-ons like fitness membership reimbursement, broad set of continuing education options via Guild, and Hinge Health.
Cons
Like any large company, communication silos can present a challenge. The company has made many acquisitions over the last decade and IT system integration hasn't kept up, leading to data challenges-there is active work underway to improve this. Very sales driven company (a great thing) so that is the focus for investment-"back office"/corporate functions tend to operate very, very lean-these roles can be overloaded. Overall, the cons are very minor-I would recommend Sherwin-Williams as an employer!
