Pros

Work from home. Certain benefits.

Cons

The “technical” office in Chennai is a muddle of “yes man” politics. There is no scope for being righteous and straightforward. What matters is how much you can suck up someone. The org is run akin to a prison where the evil warden decides who stays and who goes. Poor retention policies and non transparent promotions and role changes. TAS is a headless chicken which has no direction or vision and all the LT feeds to the staff are lies weaved in intricate language. Every townhall is rehearsed only questions which are easy to answer or can be easily manipulated taken up. They dont have the guts to answer hard questions regarding jobs and future impacts. They dont even protect their own and treat them as waste paper.

Pros

Early career engineers are given significant ownership and exposure to complex operational challenges. Strong focus on safety, technical development, and collaboration across disciplines. Opportunities to work on high-impact projects, interact with senior leadership, and contribute to decisions affecting major assets and infrastructure.

Cons

Workloads can be demanding, and priorities can shift quickly based on operational needs. Decision-making processes can be slow due to organizational complexity, and geographic mobility may be necessary for certain career opportunities.
