Pros
In Sensient, I’m allowed to be creative and go as far as I want—*note here: with adequate justification. I was a fresh graduate when they hired me, but my opportunity was not limited. Opinion was heard and taken seriously by the team even up to management level. During my first year in Sensient, I was given opportunity to travel to many different places. When I express an interest in some projects (even seminars/ conference/ etc), I am granted a flexibility to involve in the project—again with adequate justification on how this action would bring value to me and the business. The fact that Sensient involves several different business units, allows big opportunity to not only learn from the current business unit we are working for.. but learning from different BU too.
Cons
Changes occur recently, this might be uncomfortable and confusing for some people. However, these changes appear to be made with the right intention; to make better Sensient. In addition, I see these changes as opportunity to bring more values to the company.
