CSM team - you are handling an existing book of business, if you have bad csms, expect to do a ton of non selling activity. you are also VERY at the mercy of your book and your turf - lots of companies just wont 4X or 5X their spend to buy the new Enterprise product no matter how much you demo. Success feels very luck based, even more than normal for sales. Lots of insecurity too job wise - stock values are suffering in the face of AI innovation across tech.
