Pros
Great people, with great work ethic at the staff level. Exposed to wearing many hats and all facets of the job due to the lean understaffed model. Helping patients recover and making a difference in lives.
Cons
Remember this is an east coast run for profit organization with locations all across the USA. They run lean, understaffed, under paid, over working employees. Salaried employees easily put in over 12 hours per days. Clinical ratios are higher than the norm. Management is in the weeds and are expected to handle front line work. Many smaller departments are a staff of 1, where they are the manager, staff member, admin all rolled up into one job. They are expanding quite rapidly and have opened countless new locations over the past few years. With minimal corporate infrastructure in place, it was a struggle to keep compliance and enforce basic workplace polices. Many managers would make it up as they go, which was shocking for a company with revenue in the multi billons. As you would think they would self regulate, ensure the company is not at risk.
