Pros
Fresh out of school and want experience, do not care about pay or social life - spend a year gaining experience and find a new role somewhere else.
Cons
Insane expectations for minimal pay Management constantly promises “growth” and new “opportunities,” but in reality this just means taking on more and more work with no increase in compensation. Instead of being rewarded, you’re told you’re not good enough for failing to meet unrealistic expectations. Employees are often hired in the spring with big promises, only to be let go in the fall when business slows and budgets tighten. While this kind of turnover is common for seasonal tour guides, it’s concerning that the same approach is used for full-time, salaried employees as well. The company heavily promotes its “amazing culture,” but there appears to be little understanding of what a healthy workplace culture actually is. I also know firsthand that employees were pressured and bullied into leaving positive reviews on this site in order to offset negative ones, leaving many people feeling obligated rather than genuinely willing to post them. Save your time, energy, and mental health—this is not a company I would recommend working for. Would rate everything 0 if I could.
