Pros

I did appreciate being awarded with gift cards when you exceed particular departmental performance goals or metric competitions.

Cons

This company has absolutely no regard for its employees in any way. There is no effort to try to be work with you when life happens. This says a lot for a company in the business of processing family medical leave, workers comp, and PTO for their clients all day long. When I was ordered by a court to attend domestic counseling classes I had to use up all my PTO to attend these classes and when I ran out of PTO the company still refused to adjust my shift to let me come in 2 hours early so that I could attend weekly class even though they were short-handed for the earlier shift and posted open OT every single day for people to come in and work at those times. Eventually after I used up my PTO I had to lose time at work which resulted in me getting evicted from my home. I requested that Sedgwick give me a one month personal leave while I stayed in a hotel until I sustained a new house but they refused and made me call in to report my absence each day at 5 AM instead of removing me off the schedule. Instead, their remedy was to pressure me to do a voluntary resignation, with rehire eligibility. I wasn't in a stable situation and feared that I might have to file unemployment at some point so I refused and in the end the way the company treated me I knew I would never work for them again even if they begged me to. I have never been made to feel so disregarded by any company in all my 35 years of working for many different companies...By far, Sedgwick is the worse. It also didn't help that they refused to verify my employment with prospective landlords to enable me to attain a new house. Ultimately, I ended up homeless. No matter how many excellent customer feedback surveys and performance awards you win, or how much emergency OT you do for them, or how many months of advance notice for personal time off you request, or how many court-orders you have.......they could care less and will treat you like dirt when they let you know they don't care. And the pay was not impressive, mediocre to say the least. There are far better places to work out there so my advice is to RUN as fast as you can from this place.

Pros

The benefits are okay I suppose but they'll deduct your PTO from your severance pay. It's basically a ripoff loan.

Cons

-Constant harassment and hounding from Team Leads. -Unrealistic expectations for case load productivity. Mind you, the maximum expected amount of diaries to be completed is 80+. You're expected to make and take calls while also juggling case notes, emails, and Teams messages that pull you away from your current task. And the workload is moved constantly, regardless of an employee is absent, tardy, or even still present despite being heavy across the board. But you're expected to finish it all "productively" within 8 hours. No overtime and minimal assistance. -Good audit scores don't matter. You could have 98% to 100% , leadership will burn you for missing a few notes or if you're behind on other people's work while also being behind on yours. They say they're understaffed but they refuse to hire more people unless it's your replacement. -You're practically working on a sinking ship.
