Pros
Some teams may offer interesting projects if you’re in the right department
Cons
- I received no feedback, onboarding, or training from myteam lead, who was largely absent. Despite being on probation and new to the company, I was left to "figure it out" alone, with zero guidance. - Although the company claims to value diversity, English-speaking employees are at a clear disadvantage. Internal communication during team events often defaulted to German, leaving me isolated. - One team member frequently engaged in toxic behavior: miscommunicating tasks intentionally, speaking negatively about others (including me) to management behind closed doors, and consistently creating unnecessary conflict. This person attempted to undermine my credibility, and unfortunately, their behavior was ignored by leadership. - I faced resistance in accessing necessary tools and resources to do my job. My previous industry certifications and academic background were subtly dismissed, creating a sense of being undervalued from day one. - Issues brought to management were either dismissed or left unresolved. No effort was made to improve the working atmosphere, even after conflicts were escalated.
