Pros
The only positive thing I can honestly say about this place, is they have good pay only for the top performers, and the benefits are okay. But even then, most of the top performers are being paid the same as some of the lowest performing techs, so it kind of cancels its self out.
Cons
- Absolutely abysmal work life balance, it only exists if you create it for yourself. - Work culture is the most toxic I have ever experienced in my life, a company full of hostile employees from all of the bittersweet company acquisitions. - Daily emails about pointless executives being promoted to pointless positions, all while the techs that make it possible for them to have a job are drowning in stress and issues. - Management is only there for when they need something, you will be ghosted in the field if you run into issues. - Company merger with the Stanley security has effectively destroyed the company, and mass exodus has ensued from both sides. - Dispatch has no regards for your travel time, or when you get home. Daily 2 hour plus drives, a lot of days not getting home until after 7, completely unpaid for the extended travel time. - Techs are kept in the dark, no comradery is pushed, absolute isolation unless you already know someone. - Training is such joke its actually laughable coming from a "InDuStRy LeAdER", training consists of a few poorly constructed Microsoft power points, absolutely no in field training. They will tell you to do a few power points, then send you out to do something very serious, then complain you didn't do the job correctly. - On call schedule is given out the Friday of the weekend, leaving no room to make plans, causing you to cancel all plans, I have lost close $2300 in lost trips that I had no choice but to cancel, either cancel and keep your job, or be jobless. - You will be assigned calls from techs that are dodging work, they will have no accountability, but you will since its your responsibility now. -There is so much more I could list, but I fear I will run out of characters to type.
