Pros
Good location Decent roster 10am start and hybrid working
Cons
I found the office to be uninspiring. While the employees were incredibly friendly and welcoming, many had been with the company for a long time and had already developed strong, established relationships. As a newcomer, this left me feeling out of place. The office had VERY little diversity, which made me feel uncomfortable as a person of colour. The training process primarily consisted of meetings with various colleagues to discuss their roles and the tasks I would be responsible for. After just one week, I was expected to manage tasks independently, despite not having fully acclimated to the role. This expectation was compounded by the backlog of work due to departmental restructuring which I was stuck with. Much of the work was administrative and repetitive, which was disappointing given the three rounds of interviews I had undergone and the experience I brought with me. I had hoped for a more hands-on, project-driven role, but instead, I found myself primarily focused on generating reports. I was dismissed and while it was sad to leave the role because of the competitive nature of the music industry, it was a blessing in disguise.
