Pros
The people are definitely one of the best things about working at SLTI -- it's a supportive work environment full of diverse, creative, and thoughtful people who genuinely care about one another and the quality of the work they produce.
The projects we work on are interesting, challenging, and conducive to professional growth. I feel like I'm constantly provided with (or able to create) opportunities to display my strengths and to get more practice in areas where I know I need to improve. There's also enough variety in the work we do to ensure my days and weeks are include a good balance of creative, administrative, and other tasks.
After 5+ years as a contractor and nearly 2 years as a full-time employee, I still genuinely enjoy the work that I do and the people I get to do it with.
Cons
Working remotely across multiple time zones can sometimes present challenges. It takes a bit more time to get to know people when you don't have the opportunities for in-person interaction that you would have in an office. And working from home can require a bit more discipline and focus than working from an office.
