Promotes people who shouldn't be even after failed tries of being lead/supervisor. But if your friends with the right people then you're in regardless of what's on your resume. No one can make up their mind, or if they do they change it after a few weeks. Can't seem to figure out how to quote customers. Was sheet pricing, then sqft pricing, now it's back to sheet pricing. Can't get managers to complete projects in a timely fashion regardless of how important it is to do your job. Underpaid. They say there's a pay structure for certain tiers but gave someone who's been there for less than a year $26/hour while everyone else makes less than $20 including people who have been there for years doing the same job. Their hands were tied and didn't want to lose the employee so they gave her what she wanted. Seadek was bought by Patrick Industries but the people they brought in made things worse rather than better. They held a meeting with the President saying everyone in this room will not be fired that they've already done their house cleaning and a couple days later they fired 3 people that were in that meeting. It was not right and made all of us lose faith in the company we worked for as their word meant nothing.

None, any pros that existed are long gone.

Prior to the acquisition, and 5 other chiefs coming aboard, it was legitimately an amazing place to work. Family atmosphere, the owners took care of their employees, pay was decent, bonuses, vacations etc. Then the nepotism started. And in about 7 years it has ruined SeaDek. Passing up dedicated loyal employees for ones that don't know a thing eccept for the right person. .i mean having someone in a leadership role while they are married to HR? That sounds reassuring. Not. Took away Christmas bonuses, took away holiday pay but still close at Christmas so you have to use your PTO or be eating ramen broke during the weeks of the year any parent is already broke. Back stabbing, lying, no appreciation for people that actually care about their job. No real guidance. No ability to move up, unless you know the right person that is. Hostile work environment, pay is absolutely horrendous compared to this area's average. Unfortunately Patrick drank the Kool aide and came in listening to the wrong people, and are continually making bad decision after bad decision. Managers that have no business being managers , and have no problem singling people out and flat out lying to get ahead . They 1000% do not care about their employees at all .. well at least the non nepo baby ones.
