Pros
You work one-on-one with a physician doing the medical charting for them. Get to develop invaluable relationships with physicians and expand greatly on any prior medical terminology and pathophysiology. Covers a good amount of specialties so you can really learn what you might be interested in. Good opportunities for growth. Looks awesome on a resume.
Cons
Long shift hours (10-12 hrs and often staying late) and doing lots of thankless work. Unfortunately some physicians can be hot and cold and if their in a bad mood you're stuck sitting next to them for 12 hours. Upper level management is trying to compensate for how fast the company is growing and can be disorganized and on different pages when asking for help.
