Cons
Senior project leader hired 4 scribes originally. 3/4 scribes were looking to work full-time during the summer. SPL then hired 3 more people who also wanted to work full time. All three of the new hires are getting more hours than the 3/4 that were already hired. Terrible management on the senior project leaders end. ScribeAmerica only cares about themselves and their business. They do not care about the needs of their employees. When one of my coworkers were sick, the manager demanded that they find a replacement or he would get fired. Who would want a sick worker in the ED with already sick coworkers? Again, ScribeAmerica is only about themselves. Also, many of the doctors and providers have stated how much of an asset the scribes are to them and how we should get paid A LOT more than $10 an hour after 3 months.
