Pros
Lovely colleagues and projects to work on. You might find yourself taking on other roles but see it as a way to become more dynamic/well-rounded and expanding on your skillset.
Cons
Starting with a toxic work environment. Micromanagement to the point that I developed anxiety and exacerbated my depression. Criminally underpaid! High staff turnaround which leaves you constantly having to pivot every time with a new team member. CEO has made several employees cry. CEO is passive aggressive, leaning heavily towards the latter. CEO does not protect employees No progression at all - eventually you hit a ceiling and then it's just a question of what your new title is. Small team and you will find yourself being stretched thin (especially when someone resigns, which usually happens within their first year) Doesn't feel like you can have an opinion or make suggestions without them being shot down, every time!
