Pros
I had an incredibly positive and successful experience working the first internship I've ever done at Scispot. One unique thing that stuck out to me about Scispot is it's a very communal working environment that I believe to be one of their main strengths. At Scispot, nobody is above working with anybody else, and this means that even as an intern I had the opportunity of working and learning from the CEO on a daily basis. This style of collaboration helps everybody effectively work together and raise their concerns or potential roadblocks to management with ease. Additionally, I found that everyone at the company was great to work with and very supportive of my journey, and I was allowed to take on truly amazing projects and use cutting edge technology that helped me gain experience and grow my skills faster than I had ever imagined coming into the internship on day one.
Cons
None that I noticed. It's best to be a good self starter and to want to learn and grow quickly in a fast paced environment.
