Pros
Great place to work at. Bonus once a year are good. Yearly review with raises. Starting pay is good but don't be afraid to negotiate for a raise. They can give you a bit more if you explain why when going from temp to permanent employee, Got a great HSA. Best 401K matching I've had compared to over places I've worked at. Overtime for hourly techs are good. Fruits almost every Friday. Sometimes veggies or donuts. This place is run 24 hours. Depending if you're a night person and a lab tech or production you can definitely ask for the night shift. Never had a problem with long-term employees there. Easy-ish commute if you live in NYC even by bus 161. If you like night shift thats a bonus. Nights can be easier because you're expected to keep production running and that's mostly it. There is extra side work but it's understood that night won't be as efficient at getting extra things done as daytime so there's not pressure because they value Safety First. Plus, they don't cheap out on safety like other chemistry lab places I've worked at. Honestly I only left because of family issues relocating across country. Otherwise I would still be working there.
Cons
If you're in a 24 hour role position and if you don't like night shifts this might be tough. It's employees size is not big enough that if somebody in night shift calls sick or takes vacation, you might need to cover night shift for a while. This is not a con but a warning: the company likes to stay ahead or up to date with the competing global market. So if you're a person that doesn't like change or "we've always done it that way" you will not fit in here. Also not a con but advice. They start most employees as temp then in about a few months they move you to permanent. Only phD's start out as permanent.
