I am the Training and Development Administrator for SatCom Marketing. I am posting today to refute the person who earlier stated that we hire everyone and teach our agents to use AX instead of ASK.
First, we do not just hire ANYONE, we have a five step hiring process and we look for people who desire a place to work. Some of the requirements for employment are the right attitude, personality, and sales ability.
Second, I personally train the classes myself and if this person would have paid more attention they would have realized that we do not teach people to say AXE instead of ASK. The scenario is correct just switch the words around. I have been at SatCom for over four years and I am glad that this person took my teaching and took what I taught them and they were able to find success at another company. I consider that a positive result. You must of learned something CONGRATULATIONS.
Third, I take pride in our training curriculum and onboarding process. I only allow people who are professional, enthusiastic, and show a willingness to learn and improve to graduate from class. As a matter of fact in all the years I have trained I have NEVER sent a full class to the sales floor. This is done to insure that all of SatCom’s great employees have the ability to read, write, and act professionally.
