Pros
HR was helpful and tried to assist whenever needed. The office was decent—old but functional. The kitchen was a plus, stocked with fresh snacks, juice, and even some alcoholic drinks. They liked to party. Free parking on the street.
Cons
Terrible management – In over two years, I never had a single performance review, so I had no idea if I was doing well or not. Then, out of nowhere, I was fired in two weeks due to a client budget cut. No explanation, no discussion—just gone. Even as a team lead, I was doing regular one-on-one/performance meetings with my team, but management never bothered to do the same for me. Bad work environment – Frequent internet issues and terrible laptops. My laptop restarted itself multiple times a week, and when I got a replacement, the similar issues continued. There was only one IT guy handling all office (more than 150 people) and network problems, and several employees faced similar laptop issues. Exclusionary culture – 99.9% of employees were locals, and internal events were mostly in Latvian, making it hard for non-Latvians to feel included. No stability – The company has zero long-term planning. A client asked to hire ~20 people in May, and they did. By December, the same client wanted to cut 35-40 people, and the company just went along with it. They don’t think ahead or have any strategy beyond what the client demands.
