Staff are encouraged to raise any concerns directly with their line manager in the first instance, or if this is not possible you can speak to a more senior manager, a member of the HR team, or a staff council representative. In addition there is a policy framework in place that provides an established avenue for raising employee concerns informally or formally, and an escalation route where informal approaches have not been successful. This would apply when there are concerns such as managing workloads and where further support arrangements are required to manage this effectively. Housing Officers are able to manage their own time, however where overtime has needed to be worked, TOIL is available, or in exceptional circumstances can be paid, and this is reflected in Sanctuary Housing's Terms and Conditions, as part of its competitive reward package.
