Pros

The product was fantastic and some of the employees were fantastic.

Cons

Management was terrible. Did little to train or develop employees. For a company that works in compensation they’re well below the market in what they pay their employees as well as lousy PTO. When the pandemic first started Kent the CEO waited to send everyone home while other companies were already doing so. We find out months later that Kent ended up having covid that last week and did not disclose to anyone until much later and did not tell the people who were laid off at all. During the covid layoffs they tried not to pay those employees their earned bonuses and also tried to force them to sign an NDA and a non compete. There was so much potential with the company but once the pandemic happened and they got rid of the directors there at the time the place really went down hill fast.

Pros

- Great place for an entry level person starting out. - Free Lunch - Known for their high quality compensation data set - BCBS Healthcare is great - Most individual contributors are really nice -Management knows their internal processes well.

Cons

-Upper Management is haphazard with poor communication. -VC's are squeezing every ounce of profit at the expense of employees. -Pay is docked for not hitting in office participation quota. -RIF's are used to remove older workers and alleviate their salary compression issue. -Goals and priorities are constantly changing. -Tasks are constantly added then focus shifts to something new. Not well thought out. - The constant changes make it feel like a test environment for a business case. Changes are not well thought out and poorly implemented. And then scrapped when they fail. - There is little regard for the individual contributor. - Advancement opportunities are dependent on political circle not performance. -Base pay is low. Takes 4 years to make competitive industry compensation.
