Thank you for sharing your feedback. Please be assured that colleague wellbeing remains a core priority for us, and so we're disappointed that your recent experiences at Sage haven’t met expectations. Our Places team is actively evolving our workspaces — both through new designs and updates to existing offices — to foster inclusive, collaborative environments that support all colleagues. Our hybrid working framework supports flexibility, relationship-building, and team cohesion. Managers are encouraged to work closely with their teams to ensure individual needs are met — whether related to caregiving responsibilities, parenting, or other personal circumstances — to help colleagues maintain a healthy work-life balance. We also take great care to ensure our recruitment processes are fair, inclusive, and robust, helping us attract and retain the best talent to support our growth. That said, we’d value more insight into specific situations where your concerns may have proven true. If you feel comfortable, we encourage you to raise a confidential People Services ticket to speak directly with a member of our Colleague Relations team. We recognise there is always room for improvement and remain committed to creating an environment where all colleagues can thrive and barriers to success are continuously addressed.

Pros

was hired as remote and get to have that honored, but have been openly told no career progression because of remote status. decent pay

Cons

Leadership instability: Seven manager changes during my relatively short tenure. Unrealistic targets: A sales quota set at 1,100% growth (not a typo). Slow product development: Getting anything actioned on the product side takes far too long. Product management turnover: Three product manager changes, resulting in no meaningful deliverables in over three years. Misaligned hiring priorities: Greater emphasis on DEI optics than on hiring people positioned to drive growth. Internal vs. customer focus: More energy spent on internal events than on product enhancements. Lack of accountability (the biggest issue): No one takes ownership. Responsibility gets passed around constantly — for example, client cancellations going unprocessed because they impact someone's numbers. Managers have openly encouraged pushing the work onto someone else rather than handling it.
