Pros

The benefits are amazing, some of the best in the United States. The opportunity for great pay is easily available.

Cons

The toxic climate. HR seems completely oblivious to this - one lead having personal grievances against someone under them due to that person not agreeing that vaccines cause autism. Another lead regularly coming to work hungover, even smelling of alcohol on multiple occasions, the lead 2 ignoring the fact due to a friendship. Good workers were pushed out because they were frustrated by the toxic climate and HR refused to acknowledge that fact.

Pros

People are treated very well at Safran. They might not be the highest paying Aerospace company in the USA, but they have great benefits, management, and people. And still, the pay is usually competitive.

Cons

The headquarters are in France and therefore you need to be open to a different culture. Additionally, French and English are used sometimes in communications.

Pros

Many learning opportunities for troubleshooting different types of avian generator control units. Opportunities to work with a variety of engineering departments including production, test, quality, and industrialization. Occasional overtime opportunities.

Cons

High stress due to production deadlines, especially at the end of month. Miscommunications due to constant reprioritizing of needs. Difficult to move from short term (1 year+ only) contracts to full time positions.
