Pros

- Work/life balance is encouraged 1. Not ultra-competitive, great for those looking to settle for stable and balanced jobs. 2. Generous leave carry-over system. 3. 'Flat' structure meaning not much hierarchy politics. 4. Can sponsor for Industrial PhD training. Great if you really like the topic for research.

Cons

1. Slow career growth due to lack of extra competitive push (civilian side. Cannot comment on defense/military side) 2. Defense background means super strict networking protocols, sometimes leading to extremely slow administrative updates/works. 3. Number 2 also means some of the more interesting jobs/projects are off-limits to non-Swedish citizens or reserved to specific country locations due to sensitive nature. 4. Ambiguous expansion goals for R&D and Engineering in APAC area (personal opinion)

Pros

Great benefits, plenty of personal/vacation time, personable enough to get to know many people and job security.

Cons

New employee training is non-existent. Growing so fast this can create a potential issue. Structure is needed as well. They have recently recognized this and working hard to change that.

Pros

- Meaningful work supporting U.S. national security priorities - Talented and committed colleagues across functions - Strong global brand with respected products and capabilities

Cons

- After raising internal policy compliance questions, I experienced increased manager hostility, micromanagement, and questions about my dedication from a member of the U.S. Saab, Inc. C-Suite. - Despite good-faith efforts to improve the dynamic, the environment became tense enough that I felt hesitant to, for example, fully use approved leave or personal time, or raise concerns internally for fear of manager retaliation. - Despite directly informing the U.S. Saab, Inc. CEO of the problem, and receiving assurances that my work and effort were exactly what they needed to be (as evidenced by my positive internal reviews), the increasingly hostile manager interactions continued. - Strong disapproval of the U.S. Saab, Inc. CEO and the culture that is encouraged in the U.S. C-Suite
