Pros
Paid training (even tho quite poorly), quick recruitment, semi-flexible work shifts. Possibility of career growth.
Cons
It's very dangerous to be walking around a riding bus and serving people coffee. I don't understand how this is legal in the Czech Republic! The bus is going 100km/hour and the steward is just walking through it freely. They can die if bus crushes. There have been lots and lots of injuries over the years cause the steward fell etc. The pay is definitely not enough for the risk. It's very very average (20k CZK per month). They constantly call you to cover some rides for colleagues cause they have a shortage of staff but you're already so tired. It's very physically demanding, sometimes you have to wake up at 4 am, or sleepover in some other city, etc. Which would be fine (it's like being a steward in a plane) but it's poorly paid! Flight attendants have good pay to compensate for the demanding job.
