Pros
Decent pay and insurance benefits. Company provided vehicle. Tools were supplied. Adequate initial and continuing training was provided. Great engineering phone support for techs in the field.
Cons
Too few techs for area. Long hours often necessary but OT was discouraged (draw your own conclusions). Advancement opportunities bottle neck at DSM level. Too much contract retention was being shifted from sales to service.
