Pros

When I first started working at Social Reality, it was still more a start up company. There were only 4-5 people including me. Because of the small number of employees, we work closely as a team. I learned so much both professionally and personally from the company and from my direct manager. From marketing to account management, I truly witness the excitement to run a company and also the risks that it comes with. The company values its employee and encourage us to keep growing and learning. I had so many opportunities and trainings to learn about different softwares and trends in the market. Team work is highly valued, everyone is willing to teach as long as you are willing to learn. I still consider my times at Social Reality one of the best times in my life, and I still keep in touch with my direct manager.

Cons

To be honest, there are not many, I'd say maybe there is not too much structures at the beginning but it is the downside of a start up. However, Social Reality (SRAX) has grown) so much now that it must have changed a lot. HR policy was also not too strong.

Pros

This is a challenging and fulfilling place. If you work hard, produce results, take responsibility and create, manage will give a lot of freedom to work on things that are interesting and exciting. Management is open to new ideas and the company is constantly experimenting. This is a very fast paced and dynamic. Organization is also fairly flat. Not a lot of bureaucracy and middle management. Leadership is engaged and active on new projects and products. I know some of the people that left bad reviews, and though I like them personally they were challenged and not motivated - they blame everything except themselves.

Cons

Work can be overwhelming sometimes. It's definitely a highly engaged business. You must love to work. It's not a 9 to 5 kind of place. Leadership is always engaged in projects - they're doers - and don't always have a lot of time to mentor. In order to succeed here, you must be a self starter.
