This is a horrible, toxic environment to work in. They have a high turnover rate and it’s a regular occurrence for them to start their employees off at one salary and drop their pay and/or hours. Most employees are POC, so you would think that as a black-owned business, the owner/doctor would have more respect and know how to treat her own, but that’s not the case. The owner/doctor is very moody, temperamental, and extremely passive aggressive. In addition to that, ethics of ownership are suspect, and they also have a track record for removing employee reviews. Definitely Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde vibes. The husband is supposed to be “HR” but does not know how to avoid conflict with the employees and is often the one who stirs up trouble and confusion. He is aiding in tearing this company down. Highly reconsider before taking a job here.
