Pros

Salesforce ecosystem utilizing the platform to solve our clients problems. Exposure to many types of companies and clients allowing you to learn about different businesses, processes and issues. Leadership cares about its employees and is always working to identify ways to improve the business and its people. Flexible working environment where you are treated like an adult. Company will award you for continuing to expand your skills and grow your certifications. Strong reputation and brand recognition within Salesforce which leads to good project opportunity / volume.

Cons

Small business that can struggle, at times, to execute on the goals it sets for itself. This tends to come from the good problem of having lots of projects. Lots of projects of varying sizes which can be challenging to manage at the PM down to the analyst level.

Pros

Coming from a highly corporate environment where performance pressure felt constant and job security was uncertain, transitioning to SMBHD has been a refreshing change. The leadership team is supportive, transparent, and provides clear structure without micromanaging. There’s a strong sense of trust that allows you to truly own your role and bring your expertise to the table. Despite being a smaller, boutique consulting firm, there is significant opportunity for growth and upward mobility. You’re encouraged to learn, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and embrace a growth mindset. It feels like a place where your contributions matter and your career can genuinely progress. The office environment is another standout—fully renovated with a full kitchen, modern conference room technology, and adjustable standing desks. It delivers the feel of a large corporate office without the stress and bureaucracy that typically come with it.

Cons

As with many smaller firms, processes and structure are still evolving in certain areas, which can occasionally require adaptability and patience. However, this also creates opportunities to help shape and improve how things are done.
