Pros
Good benefits and fair pay for what you are doing in comparison to other fields with similar position
Cons
As mentioned in another comment, the control is executed by HR. Folks who aren't even qualified are given management positions and it is horrible for business and morale. An employee who is favored by a manager is given preferential treatment over tenured employees with better experience, knowledge, and work ethic. Employees who have worked hard for the company, produce quality work have been seen to be passed over for the managers favorite. Communication between different shifts gets extremely poor and information used in powerplay instead of sharing. If management has more interest in another group of workers ( for ex, IT vs Operation) you might be treated as if you don't exist. Despite the big emphasis on integrity, its all about who you know here.
