      Tries to adopt best HR practices from local markets and apply them globally

      Cons

      People are the number one Value in SLB, but the people here are not the employees , but the inventors. Continuous org changes and everyone is at their toes because layoffs are always around the corners !!

      Pros

      Actually a pretty good company to work for. Good work-life balance and management was always friendly and professional. Time off was always approved and was encouraged to take. The pay was also pretty good and hybrid work was also great.

      Cons

      Was laid off after I was forced to train my replacement for cheaper labor in Colombia. Also the system to promote employees is so difficult and convoluted to work with. Continuous changes/updates made it almost impossible to "go to the next level".
