Pros

- Part of SJ - Good Benefits

Cons

- In SJ employee handbook, all employees are entitled to 1 day WFH but boss doesn’t want. Wants everyone to be office 5 days a week. - Micromanagement to the max: Need submit weekly on what you do in the AM and PM. If not detailed, boss not happy. If not following what you stated in schedule, boss say you slacking. - Will ask you to do stuff outside job scope like the professional body boss is affiliated to the events. If not, he not happy. - Some senior colleagues will keep eyeing on your laptop if you are junior or new young employee. - Boss will question you if you take more than 5 days of leave (3 ALs + 2 weekends.. yes they count the weekend although not in the system), previously rejects leave. - Doesn’t want you to nego on salary. - Location too far - Not much communications between employees - If you want to switch department within SJ, good luck. Boss will question and gaslight you into staying under SIPM and maybe unhappy.
