Pros

Their base pay is decent, but you won’t actually get that money because they make you get off the clock, so nobody gets 40hr/week. More like 35hr/week if that

Cons

They do sketchy things with time sheets, don’t care about their employees, and make employees get off the clock too early to save money, which compromises patient care. The management in office and the “team leads” hide away and talk in group chats about the student MAs, who do most of the work. The two office managers also don’t know what’s actually going on on the clinic floor (due to hiding away) but attack the MAs (again without actually knowing what’s happening) if one of the team leads says something. It’s a power trip. If you’re looking to be an MA here, especially a student one, don’t. It’s a toxic nightmare.

Pros

The schedule was great, M-F 8-5. Met some really genuine people there, several coworkers and most of all the patients, loved interacting with regular patients. That alone was by far very rewarding.

Cons

If you don't originally hire to stay in one location, they will "ask" you to float since management doesn't really cover anything. No real leadership, no real communication between departments, changes in protocol almost monthly yet nobody is ever on the same page so there is absolutely always issues that have to be worked out but it's all a blame game instead of listening to each other. Very fake about caring about employees to make the team work. The gas lighting is on another level. There is always somebody who thinks they know how to do your job better yet they have never actually done it successfully for a full business day. So it's all assumptions. Almost no respect from certain providers and management. The amount of ego that runs the office is insane. No leadership. Just allot of empty words leaving the genuine people who did their job to the best of their abilities losing motivation and the positivity they once started with. Whn I first began I was warned heavily of every issue, I thought it was an exaggeration. Boy was I so wrong. Even with some temporary changes in so called management, it never stuck or seemed to improve the whole dynamic. I urge you to think your options very carefully before you commit to this place. What they promise on day one is not what they will deliver. You will leave broken if you let them. It's all about who you know there, unqualified ppl get roles with higher pay just because they're cool with each other, but whn it comes down to procedure, the actual ppl doing the correct job are the ones who suffer and have to deal with picking up the slack while others get that recognition and praise.
