Pros

SCOTTeVEST offers an exciting work environment, where no two days are the same. Employees that prove themselves are quickly awarded with opportunities to get involved in various aspects of the business. There is limitless potential to advance your career with SCOTTeVEST, in an environment that is open, transparent and respectful of fellow employees. The team at SCOTTeVEST is highly skilled, collaborative and professional. The benefits at SCOTTeVEST are a huge plus. We work HARD, but we are rewarded for our hard work; competitive salaries, twice weekly bootcamps, weekly massages, full healthcare coverage paid for by the company, frequent company outings, chiropractic adjustments... oh, and "Bring Your Dog to Work" day is EVERY DAY. Also, the company is BASED in Sun Valley, Idaho... It doesn't get any better.

Cons

The environment isn't for everyone. It is fast-paced and demanding. Priorities will shift and you will likely work outside of your comfort zone. You must be able to learn new things independently. You must be open & honest about your mistakes. You must be able to learn and grow from your mistakes. No one is perfect and the management understands that. However, there is no excuse for dishonesty.

Pros

Generally when a workplace touts itself as drama free and dedicated to honesty, those statements are so dry you could start a fire with them. In my experience, however, these are genuine traits of the SCOTTeVEST atmosphere. Being able to bring your dog to work with you (and being able to take them out when they need to go) is great - you know you're not leaving your best friend alone at home crated all day (and your trash will stay safe at home while you're not there to guard it). The friendly atmosphere encourages and fosters actual friendship with your coworkers through weekly get togethers outside of work (a company perk includes the company covering costs for food and drink at a local bar - with excellent food, might I add - when 3 or more employees are together). The product is worth selling! As an employee, you also get a small clothing allowance every few months so that you can acquire some of the clothing to wear whether at work or in your personal life. The area is beautiful - if you're in to hiking and adventuring and skiing, it's the perfect location.

Cons

The area is a little remote - it's about an hour's drive to the closest Walmart, so you'll need to learn how to minimize shopping trips. Meetings with management can prove frustrating if you are not accustomed to being spoken to bluntly. Not rudely - but bluntly. Typically, they are quick to the point rather than dragging out the conversation.
