Pros

I learned many new skills while at SCOR, and I can appreciate the opportunity to increase my marketability. It is rare to work with such seasoned people.

Cons

I wish the Charlotte office had been more innovative about streamlining their processes. I think the managers became too comfortable with all of the multiple steps in reconciling client statements, and they did not realize the need for innovation in many areas of business. Also, there was not enough diversity in the management at SCOR, and in some aspects many of the managers could not relate to the people on their teams. Training left alot to be desired because the majority of the training was left up to one person towards the end of the 4th Quarter billings. Some folks were not so readily to share "Best Practices" either. Now, this company is in the middle of a big system migration to Kansas for its American business, and it feels like they are flying by the seat of their pants through the entire thing. The majority of their workers were told in February they were going to be laid off at a later date, but SCOR has had to extend those dates out for 3 more months due to poor planning on how to implement the new systems in Kansas.

Pros

Flexible Work from home only for employees in Charlotte office.

Cons

New compensation structure is confusing and not fair. Does HR know how it works?
