Pros

-Position provides an apartment and meal plan -Located next to downtown Greenville -Great benefits (health insurance, dental insurance, sick leave and annual leave) -Friendly work environment -Fitness Center located on campus -Great position if you enjoy working with teenager and making a positive impact

Cons

-It is not clearly stated neither during the interviewing process or during orientation/training that residential life live-in staff are required to stay overnight on campus and cannot leave campus until the next morning. -Position is entry-level only and there is no opportunity for advancement -Supervisory staff occasionally come off condescending and rude

Pros

Highest quality student work in their art area.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunities for growth for part time instructors, although there’s a lot of care.

Pros

The students are fantastic; dedicated to their craft, curious, hard working, insanely talented, supportive of each other (for the most part - they are teenagers)

Cons

goodness. the culture is so very toxic there. the admin is underhanded and two-faced, Some department heads seem to be atrophied ex-performers/artists who are bitter and withering on the vine. It brings tension, competition, and back-biting to what should be an incredible job. Diversity of students is pretty good, but among faculty it's really not, especially artistic faculty
