Pros

flexible schedule, work and life balance.

Cons

Pay seems below market value, annual performance pay is chump change, it’s actually insulting, leaders/hr having to challenge and question your worth when goals noted should speak for themselves and leaders should learn to stand up and support their EAs when it comes to annual pay increases just as we show up to support our executives each day. No matter how people may view calendar management full of demanding meetings, along with juggling other task, it’s still work. Work is work. Constant work. We are not valued enough. I speak for myself and for others here. If performance reviews are going strong, the pay is not reflected and if no other feedback is given when asked how can we improve performance where pay is matched. Leaders seem to be failing us in this area.

We regret hearing about your negative experience. While we understand that every experience can differ, the environment you described does not reflect the culture we strive to foster at SCAN—a workplace where our Rebels (employees) feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow. We understand how important it is to feel valued both through feedback and fair compensation, and we take this feedback seriously. As SCAN continues to grow and evolve, we’re always actively reviewing spending and resource allocation with financial stewardship in mind to ensure long-term scale and stability for our members and Rebels alike. And while our rapid growth isn’t without challenge, we remain committed to listening, learning, and improving, and with 91% of our Rebels (employees) saying that SCAN is a great place to work according to our Great Place to Work survey, we believe we’re headed in the right direction. As part of this, our leadership also maintains an open-door policy to allow for candid feedback from all levels of the organization with the option to submit anonymously at any time. As you have moved on from SCAN, we wish you the best in your future pursuits.

Pros

• I learned to have empathy for our clients. • I acquired leadership skills too. • Proper balance of independence and support • on the job • Guidance from the higher-ups • Policies are updated regularly to be more in tune with employees’ needs. • 4-day workweek (I get Mondays and Tuesdays off.) • Fair salary and perks like hybrid setup, tuition reimbursement, and wellness benefits.

Cons

It’s stressful to handle grievances and appeals. You must have the stamina if you want this kind of job.

Pros

The location is decent enough, and the commute did not make things worse than they already were.

Cons

- There is a very clear in group culture in the office, and if you are not included from day one, you are immediately at a disadvantage. - People stick to the same lunch groups every day with the same conversations, and if you are outside of that circle, you are simply left observing. - Getting basic work answers can become unnecessarily difficult because information tends to circulate only within informal groups that are never openly shared. - Effort and performance do not seem to matter much compared to social placement within the office hierarchy, which appears to be decided almost immediately during onboarding. - Management acts as if none of this exists, even though it is felt constantly by anyone outside those circles.
